Sea Bass has medium-dense texture, light meat with a delicate mild-to-moderate flavor. The meat is is shiny white and translucent and has a unique taste. Ingredients:

  • 6 fresh whole Black Sea Bass fillets, about 6 oz each
  • 1 cup pitted black olives, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crumbled dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon crumbled dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock or dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste

Turkish Baked Sea Bass with Black Olives Easy Recipe

How to cook Turkish Baked Sea Bass with Black Olives:

  • Combine garlic, olives, oregano, basil and parsley in small bowl.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a large baking dish at 425°F for 1 minute.
  • Spread olive mixture evenly over bottom of baking dish.
  • Arrange the sea bass fillets, skin side up, on top.
  • Pour vegetable stock around fillets.
  • Bake, basting occasionally with juices, until done.
  • To serve, arrange the baked sea bass fillets and olive mixture on heated serving plates.
