Sea bass is a very tasty fish, with relatively few, easy-to-remove bones and firm flesh that holds its shape when cooked. On the plate, branzino has mild, fairly firm white flesh. It was suggested that it is the most preferred fish among the other. Branzino, which are also known as Spigole in Italy, are among the most popular Mediterranean fish. Sea bass is a very tasty fish, with relatively few, easy-to-remove bones and firm flesh that holds its shape when cooked. Ingredients:

  • 6 fresh European Sea Bass / Branzino fillets, (6-8 ounce each)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 cup kernels corn
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 tomatillos, diced
  • 1 cup toasted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 poblano chili, roasted, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 lime, squeeze to juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Grilled European Sea Bass Southwestern Style Easy Recipe

How to cook Grilled European Sea Bass Southwestern Style:

  • Place fillets in salt water and let it soak for 15-20 minutes. Wash fillets well; rinse and pat dry with paper towels.
  • To make salsa combine corn, tomatillos, pumpkin seeds, chili, lime juice and cumin in a bowl. Mix it, cover and refrigerate for several hours.
  • Preheat the grill to 400°F over medium coals.
  • Remove stem and seeds from bell pepper.
  • Cut bell pepper in half and brush with a little olive oil.
  • Place on grill and cook until the skin starts to bubble and blacken.
  • Remove from grill and cut into thin strips.
  • Season fillets with a little salt and pepper and place on grill.
  • Grill until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork and cooked through to the center.
  • Serve with salsa and pepper strips.

Notes:
