I just wanted to say that I love the 13' Motsugo Tenkara rod and case that I ordered from you!! I've
fished it several times now on the Mighty Kern River here in So. California. Having been a traditional
fly-fisherman for many years I was excited to try something different. Much to my great surprise I
more trout in two days than I have in two years of fishing. My wife has never fished with me but after
getting her to try it I had to order another just like mine because she loved it too. We're hooked!!
For people like us who don't have a great deal of disposable income it was great to be able to outfit

I have already sent you a picture of a pretty solid tenkara catch made with your 14' Wakata rod, that
being the 5-lbs catfish I took from my private water in Arkansas last year. I recently was able to go
fishing in some private water in Louisiana and caught about 20 extremely high-grade coppernose
bluegills and one fine largemouth bass about 17" (this is a guess) long. I used home/self-tied
weighted Wooly Buggers, your 10 lbs green fly line, 4-lbs leader, and of course your 14' Wakata
tenkara rod. This rod has become my go-to tackle whenever possible over the past year and I have
caught hundreds of fish on it. I have absolute confidence in this rod after having caught the catfish
I already posted last year and am now forming a strategy to catch a 5-lbs + largemouth bass hopefully
this summer. I reccomend the 14' Wakata with zero reservations and wholeheartedly endorse it for
anyone wanting to try tenkara. It is a fantastic addition to anyone's arsenal and your service is

30/37cm. it was a pleasant surprise as I hooked and landed this trout, very soft. Possess also the

First, I had a great fishing trout day today using the Hamachi rod, the 10 lib line you sent me and
the hook holder thingies. I landed 10-15 browns and rainbows between 12 and 16 in, and the rod had no
problem. Your description of the strength of universal tenkara rods is accurate. I used 11 ft of the
10 lb line and 4 ft of 5x tippet you sent me and it cast like a charm. No real problems even in
