Just to inform you that on 23 June I received the two carbon poles I recently ordered. The poles look great and confirm that the Japanese are on top regarding the quality of their products. Am really happy and will test them in August during our vacation in Greece. No need to tell that from now on you have as a new customer.
One question though concerning the shipment: Why not give the customer the choice of shipping means other than only 'Express Mail'. Express mail is fine when someone is in a hurry but in many other circumstances one can wait two to three weeks before receiving orders at much cheaper shipment rates...
Just one more thing: I waited more than 30 years before I could find quality carbon poles that could be carried in my suitcase. 65cm is a perfect dimension. Anyhow thank you again for your help and excellent service. Have a nice weekend!

Hello Igor, Good evening from northern Arkansas. I hope this finds you doing well today. I wanted to send you a picture of my best tenkara catch to date. I just bought one of your 14' Wakatas and caught this nice blue catfish on a size 14 bead head white wooly bugger in my farm pond here on my property. I was using a 4-lb mono tippet about 5' long and your green level line 10-lb test. I was catching bluegils and small bass (I had about 40 or so) off the bank when this one struck. I knew immediately I had a good one on and the fight lasted between 6 and 8 minutes. Igor, the Wakata performed beautifully, bending all the way to the butt without breaking. The first three sections have a lot of give in them but there is an immense amount of reserve in the lower sections. I was already very impressed with the rod but now I am completely sold on it. I would reccommend this rod to any serious angler looking to get started in tenkara and in absolutely no way feel this rod is of low quality! I am very impressed and look very forward to fishing this rod for years to come. The fish is approximately 24 inches and roughly five pounds according to the State of Missouri's length/weight chart. Not to brag but it's a pretty big fish for tenkara!

On the very first bite on the brand new Hera-B3-104-1-5406 rod, I hooked a 22.12lb. carp. It was a brutle fight that last a while, but in the end, the carp layed on the sideway and gave in. With this rod I felt all the massive power that carp delivered, yet I had leverage and control over the carp. Just by holding this rod in my hand, gave me a new experience on pole fishing.
